The song was sentimental, featuring the sad mood of a person writen by greatest lyricist Shri Jibananda Pani.The great Music Director Shantanu Mohapatra pictured the song in a exceptional way. For Last 10 years I am listening this Outstanding song, at least twice in a week.This song is old one,but now listener crazy about the song.

2.Old oriya movie song Pirati Tora Duru Juhara ( Year : 1970 )
I love the song Pirati Tora Duru Juhara of the Movie pirati toro, which was sang by the singer Chitta Jena & Sipra Bose.. The song was my favorite as I can enjoy it while reading the lyrics writen by Shibabrata Das, with the music direction given by Upendra Kumar. Though the Movie song was released in the year 1970, I still listen to it regularly on my iPod.It is one of the best old songs I admired.The Incredible melody of the song satisfy me very much.free download of the song Pirati Tora Duru Juhara through is availble from Youtube website and the link is given below.

The marvelous oriya movie song “mana mane naa” from the film I LOVE YOU which was released in the year 2003. The rhythmic song was voiced by T. Souri & Tapu Mishra.Here talented Swarup Nayak given lyrics as well as direction of the sweetest music which definitely worth listening.The romantic song remind me my college days and close friends,which we all enjoyed that romantic moment. This is very nice song among all the songs.It is heart touching and lovable song also.It is a group dance song. The music and dance,which relaxing you.The rhythm in the song is very good.An Excellent oriya song.. this one is my favorite.I rally appreciate the song with its feel.

It was in the Nineties that the Oriya music did a transform act from the traditional Folk songs, film songs to the more advanced version of western style Music albums. Though the contrasting characteristics of these Oriya Music songs Album is that they were both having the traditional Music with the blend of Adhunik(modern) Oriya songs, but there was also the songs worshiping the nature and Gods. Out of thousands of songs that I heard in the past 25 years I could make out many as the best of all times. The songs from the Oriya films are often been very polite, rhythmic and too original in making. I am listing my own favorite oriya film songs which are very close to my heart and yet makes them the best of Oriya music from Oriya films. Surprisingly 3 of the best 5 oriya film songs , that I chosen were from the year 1976.

The Best 5 Oriya Songs for me are as follows:

1. Abhimanini E Amania Dheu,
a memorable song featured in the movie ULKA, released in the year 1987. The Song was singed by the famous bengali singer Aarati Mukherjee, written by Sachi Mohanty and was melodiously composed by the renouned Music Director pair of Raju Mishra & Bibhu.

2. E Banara Chhai Janhi Pratham Prema (1976 ) is the sweetest of the songs that I heard of in any oriya songs of seventies, from the firt color oriya movie “Gapa Helebi Sata”.

3. Hrudayara Ehi Sunyata Ku .. song from the 1976 movie Samar Salim Saiman, sang by the melodious voice of Shekhar Ghosh is one of the most romantic with sense of sad love songs that the lyricist Nizam had written for this Oriya Movie with the equally brilliant work from the Music director Mushir.

4. E Jibana Mane Nunhe Aaha is another great group mesmerizing song from the singer Aarti Mukherjee,Bhupinder Singh, Suresh Wadekar for the Oriya movie ULKA(1987), with the music direction from Raju Mishra & Bibhu and nicely compiled and written by Sachi Mohanty.

5. Ja re majhi Bhasi ja… a small boat and the silent river song, depicting the natural Oriya village beside the river Mahanadi, is the best of picturised song as far as I remember of any Oriya movie song. Its in the mist of the monsoon season, that the song was pictured in Orissa with the boatman singing at its peak, moving slowly with his small boat, leaving behind the ripples of water like his old childhood days behind justifying the balance between human relationship with the nature.
